Don’t get cute and try to ween out the last couple weeks before the new year. If you’re one of those people who make New Year’s resolutions, here is some advice: Keep it realistic. Don’t tell yourself you’re going to lose 100 pounds. Rather, aim for a number like 50, and when you get there, continue on to 100. You will realize that working out is contagious. Once you put forth the effort to look better, and actually see results, you won’t want to stop. So whatever your resolution may be, start taking small steps now to prepare yourself for the actual, new year. It’ll be easier when that time arrives.
