Many, many actions and outcomes are outside of your control. The sooner you face this fact the easier things will be when they do not go your way. Taking the time and energy out of your life on things that are out of your hands will take a toll physically and emotionally. Let fate play its card and do what it does.
When things don’t turn out the way you had hoped, find a way to adjust and deal with it. Whether your favorite football team just lost the Super Bowl or your ex started dating some douche bag, just do what you can to adapt your emotions to positive ones and find a way to positively move on. Focusing on the negative aspects of a circumstance gets nothing productive accomplished and will only get yourself more own. If you instead, find a way to look at whatever situation it may be, with a positive attitude with hopes of future productive outcomes, you then put yourself back in charge and ready to thrive. If you’ve had your heart broken, your hopes changed, or whatever situation you may be facing, keep yourself up and positive, find healthy distractions to keep your mind off of the negatives, and push yourself to find something better than what you once had.
Today’s #TOD: Stop caring about things you can’t control.
