WORKING OUT! Obvious right? You’d be surprised. It’s easy to get into the habit of both working out and not working out. I recently took a little vacation where working out wasn’t always the first thing on my mind. Taking a few days off and eating whatever I wanted was enjoyable… And dangerously addicting. Once you get that sweet tooth and that satisfaction from all the food it’s really hard to stop. But honestly, it’s not a big deal if you don’t stop. Ration the food you eat and be sure to work it off and you’ll be all good.
Back to the title, how to add years to your life. In recent studies, researchers have shown that adding in 150 minutes of working out per week while maintaining a healthy, steady weight, can add up to 7 years to your life (cite: PLOS Magazine/Men’s Health Magazine). This information really proves the benefits to living a healthy lifestyle and continuing to be active even through your aging days. The studies showed these results after 10 years of research and witnessing prolonged life through its studies.
Find a way to manage your workouts efficiently and try to put in up to 150 minutes per week. Be able to keep your body motivated and healthy and have it pay off for your grandchildren!
