Trouble Sleeping? These Foods Can Help

Do you ever find yourself rolling around in your sheets (not the way you want to be) at all hours of the night?  Here are a few simple solutions that could help improve your sound sleep throughout the night:

  1. Fish– FIsh like tuna, shrimp and cod include trytophan, which helps the body be put to sleep.  Do your research on types of fish that can help your sleep schedule.
  2. Carbs– Combining carbs with trytophan type foods helps the body digest the meal slower, and will help the sleep process prolong.
  3. Cherries- Being high in melatonin, a substance that makes people sleepy, cherries are a good substitute for Nyquil.
