Personally, I am a huge movie buff. Anything that catches my interest, I most likely will go see. We will have some posts about movie critics, best movies of the year, movies of the season, movies you should see, and so on and so forth. There are some movies that after seeing you are just “Wowed” by the wardrobes that were put together and the style that was portrayed. Here are our top ten most stylish movie/TV casts (last to first):
10. Boardwalk Empire
It’s a bit unfortunate that today’s civilization does not dress the way that of the 1920s used to. It seemed as if there was never a moment that didn’t capture pure elegance and class. Boardwalk Empire may have ended their most recent season on a terrible note, but they sure do dress well!
9. Mr. & Mrs. Smith
As if Brad and Angelina aren’t stylish enough, the duo combines for an impeccable taste in this blockbuster. Even when duking it out in their home while nearly blowing their entire neighborhood into oblivion, they still find a way to look fashionably irresistible.
The women are normally dressed fresh to death and the lead roles of Vince, played by Adrian Grenier, and Ari, played by Jeremy Piven, are usually looking very stylish.
7. Ocean’s Eleven
George Clooney is most often dressed like a modern day Cary Grant. That is a sleek and stylish older man that woos the women of the film. Ocean’s 11 brings along a cast of stylish members to join Clooney in his escapades.
6. Mad Men
Don Draper, those suits, that cast… It’s a stylish show that has since influenced people to partake in unhealthy habits such as drinking and smoking at work. However, it has also helped boost one healthy custom that is, dressing well. The cast of Mad Men sure has that down.
5. Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
Bad movie, great clothes. From the suits to the biker gear, the attire was sufficiently broadcasted. The storyline is a whole other conversation.
4. Magic City
A newly premiered show featured on Starz, on Friday nights, displayed a sexy cast with an even sexier wardrobe. From the gowns to the glamour, Magic City sparkled.
3. The Devil Wears Prada
The movie that every male enjoyed but is afraid to admit. This movie is one of my all-time favorites. Mock all you want. But watch it and then see what you think. With the brand, Prada, listed in the title of the movie, it’s hard to believe the film wouldn’t uphold the style standard of one of the most successful fashion designers out there. They didn’t fail. The men and women of this cast were tip-top in trendy gear.
All of Christopher Nolan’s films seem to declare a certain sense of fashionable elegance. This was his best. Leo, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy and more were beyond stylish in this film.
1. Crazy, Stupid, Love
From the moment you began watching the movie, you felt like you wanted to be a part of the cast, right? Their moods were so suave and their clothes were so impeccable. Ryan Gosling played the role of a pretty boy womanizer who was teaching a few things to a new pal, played by Steve Carell, who had just been divorced. The film is an all around happy, funny, piece that leaves you feeling good after watching. The perk is that the clothes are perfected.
